4 elevation views are defined in the default template: North, South, East West
You must be in the Plan View to create Elevation View
Activate 1st Floor with Pool
View Control bar - Show Crop Region
Make sure there is enough space above pool house to add elevation mark
View tab > Create panel > Elevation - Elevation
Type Selector - Elevation: Building Elevation
View Control bar - Reveal Hidden Elements
Unhide the Elevation Mark
Another way to turn ON Elevation Mark:
Type VG or VV
Annotation Categories tab - Visibility - Check Elevation
Options bar - Scale: 1:100
Place Elevation Mark outside the pool house
Click Modify to end the command
Select the pointed side of the elevation mark
Change the Clip Plane by Shape Handle
Change the depth by Control
Show only the Pool House
Double-click the pointed side to open the elevation view
Adjust the crop region to cover 1st to 3rd Floor
Hide the grid lines and levels
Turn OFF the crop region
Rename the the elevation view to Pool - North
Repeat the same steps to add elevation marks on East, West and South views
Activate each elevation view and rename them to Pool - East, Pool - West and Pool - South
Add Interior Elevations
Activate 1st Floor Restroom
View tab > Create panel > Elevation
Type Selector - Elevation: Interior Elevation
Place in the 2 restrooms
Select the center part of the elevation marker, check all the 4 boxes
This place an elevation in each direction
Repeat the same to the other restroom
Rename them to:
Men's Restroom - North/ East/ South/ West
Women's Restroom - North/ East/ South/ West
Open one of the elevation facing the door
The interior elevation automatically stops at the boundaries of the walls and the level above
Clean Up the Views and Add building Sections
Section can be created in Plan, Elevation and other Section view
Section view slice through the entire model
Activate 1st Floor
Select all the elements around the restroom
Status bar - Filter
Clear all except Elevations and Views, click OK
Right-click anywhere > Hide in View > Elements
View Control bar - Show Crop Region
Adjust crop region to show all elevation markers
Move them closer to the building
Off the Crop Region
View tab > Create panel > Section
Type Selector - Section - Building Section
Draw a horizontal and vertical section through the building (L - R)
Project Browser - Section (Building Section) - Rename the 2 sections to East - West Section and North - South Section
Add Wall Sections
Activate 2nd Floor Plan
Hide all grid lines and elevation markers
View tab > Create panel > Section
Type Selector - Wall Section
Draw 4 wall sections
