Grids are the basis for architectural and structural column locations
Archtectural column can be view as placeholder or decorative element
Structural column include more precise information related to industry standard
Architecture tab > Datum panel > Grid
Draw panel > Pick Lines
Select the left side 1st vertical line, change the grid number to A
Continue select all the other vertical lines one by one
Select the top horizontal line, change the letter to 1
Continue select all other horizontal lines one by one
Click Modify to end the command
Add Columns
Architectural Columns can be viewed as placeholder or decorative elements

Architecture tab > Build panel > Column - Structural Column
Type Selector - M_Concrete-Square-Column: 300x300mm
Options bar - Height: 2nd Floor
Multiple panel > At Grids
Cross-select all grid lines, then click Finish
Click Modify to end the command
Delete columns at A1, A2, A4, B1, B4
Structural columns remain separate even material same with walls
Delete a grid or wall does not delete the column
Columns move with nearby grids by default
Change to 3D view
Select any column, right-click - Select All Instances - Visible in View
Properties palettes:
Base Level: T.O. Footing
Top Level: Roof
