Setting Up Levels

Levels define stories and other vertical heights (like roof or parapet)
Levels can create on either elevation or section view
Elements create on levels are constrain, if level moves, element will follow

Project Browser - Elevations (Building Elevation) - North
The project has 2 existing levels: Level 1 and Level 2
Zoom-in to the level name



Click on the level name and rename it to 1st Floor
Rename the corresponding views - Click Yes
Rename Level 2 to 2nd Floor, change the level height to 5450mm

Architecture tab > Datum panel > Level
Draw panel > Pick Lines
Options bar - Offset: 3650

Move the cursor to 2nd Floor
Make sure the offset dotted line is above the level
Continue creating level until total of 10 levels

Options bar - Clear the Make Plan View option, Height: 1220
Ceate 1 additional level above the highest level
This level does not need a plan view
Click Modify to end the command



Rename the top level to Parapet, the level below to Roof
Continue to rename the other level to 3rd Floor, 4 Floor .... 8th Floor

Add another 2 level below 1st Floor



Rename them to Basement and T.O. Footing
Change the level height to -3000 and -3600
