Tag identify elements that are listed in schedule
Door and window tags come in automatically

Type of Tag

1. Tag by Category
2. Multi-Category
3. Material

Tag Options

Options bar - Check Leader OR
Properties palette - Check Leader Line

Change the leader to Free End

Select the tag, press spacebar to toggle the orientation

Preload Tag

After the Tag by Category command

Options bar - Tag Loaded

Preload tags:
Area, Door, Revision, Room, Sheet, Structure Beam, Structure Framing, Wall, Window

To load tags are not preload, navigate the Library\ US Metric\ Annotations

Stair and Railing Tags

 

Activate Elevation or Section Plan

Annotate tab > Tag panel > Stair Tread/Riser Number

Select a reference line of a stair to place the number

Tagging in 3D View

Activate a 3D View

Status bar - Unlocked 3D View - Save Orientation and Lock View

Name: From NE Pool Side

Annotate tab > Tag panel > Tag by Category

 

Tagging Multiple Elements

Select the elements
Annotate tab > Tag panel > Tag All Not Tagged

Shift or Ctrl + Select more than 1 tag

Tagged only all the selected elements
