Start with a plan view and define a sketch or footprint around the area
Hip Roof: 4 edges define the slope
Gable Roof: 2 opposing edges of a rectangular area define the slope
Shed Roof: Only one edge defines the slope
Architecture tab > Build panel > Roof by Footprint
Options bar - Clear the Define Slope
Draw panel > Pick Wall
Pick these walls, and leave some gaps between them
Draw panel > Line
Draw a line touch the left vertical line, use Trim Corner to trim it
Use Trim Corner to join the corner
Type Selector - Basic Roof: Steel Bar Joist-Steel Desk - EPDM Membrane
